Lotus Post Blossoms as a Premiere Santa Monica Indie Film Sanctuary

"Calling all Indie Film and documentary film makers....we hear you and we're here for you!", says COO of Lotus Post, David Marcus.
Lotus Post, the 7,000 square foot boutique post production facility founded by Marcus and his partner CEO Michael Perricone in 2009, has been busy quietly amassing an impressive collection of credits. It has gained the attention of both mini majors such as Relativity Media as well as a whole new group of indie directors. Films of all genres have called on Lotus for their post production sound needs including majors like "The Fighter" and "Dear John". Indie films such as "Seven Days in Utopia" starring Robert Duvall, Michael Biehn's directorial debut in "The Victim", the Polish brothers "For Lovers Only" as well as the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar epic documentary about the Harlem Renaissance All Stars, "On The Shoulders of Giants" are currently being finished at Lotus.
"Our strategy from the beginning was to service the Indie feature and documentary market", says CEO Michael Perricone. "We know how challenging it is to get films done in this economy so we have intentionally streamlined the post sound finishing process to be able to offer world class finishing services within the budgets of today's Indie productions".
Adds Marcus: "These films speak to the core of our mission statement a component of which seeks to provide a sanctuary for the independent film maker to realize their creative vision".
Lotus Post is a full-service audio post-production facility consisting of a group of unique, fully networked studios and work bays. The facility has been technically engineered and ergonomically designed to streamline the workflow between the recording, editorial, and re-recording processes. Every workspace is completely integrated into the central machine room allowing each room to operate independently or share resources. The interior of the 7,000 square foot facility has a clean, industrial look with a raw brick wall and polished concrete floor. The central lounge and kitchen area invites casual and creative conversations with open skylights and comfortable couches.
